It's not officially baseball season until Cincinnati throws a parade! You can’t find it on the calendar but make no mistake: Opening Day is baseball’s annual festival and nowhere celebrated like it is in the Queen City.

The 106th Findlay Market Opening Day Parade on Thursday, March 27th, 2025. A 160 entrants were in the parade. With a total of more than 130,000 participants and hundreds of thousands of Cincinnati Red’s fans watching the parade. The parade had a float with Cincinnati's Olympic athletes, and 16 marching bands — that includes nearly 1,500 students/musicians.e

John Oliver, band director at Carlisle Local Schools for the past 10 years, along with his assistant Kyle Schuckmann of 7 years, took 70 students to perform in the Opening Day Parade for the 3rd year. This event is something everyone looks forward to yearly.
