Posted on: April 10, 2019

The opportunities for women to have meaningful careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) have never been so open and varied in our history.  Over this 4-day camp experience, young women will have the chance to explore careers in STEM fields such as genetic engineering, biology, forensic science, chemistry, and biomedical engineering, and consumer goods and materials engineering.  Through a series of field trip experiences to local STEM partner institutions, such as Proctor & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson: Ethicon Endosurgery, and the Center for Conservation and Research of Endangered Wildlife (CREW) lab at the Cincinnati Zoo, students will engage in hands-on activities bringing the possibilities of STEM career to life.  Sinclair Community College science faculty will lead the camp creating an engaging educational opportunity to introduce some of the exciting options that a STEM career offers.
