CMS Football Split with Preble Shawnee

7th grade

The Indians hosted Arrow’s Wednesday night in the Buckeye divison.  Preble Shawnee struck first in the 1st quarter to take the lead.  Kolby Millard forced a fumble on the next Arrow possession that set up the Indians only touchdown of the game.  The Aarows took the lead and defeated he Indians 28-6.  The tribe heads to Madison Wednesday for another contest in the Buckeye division.

 

 

8th Grade

The Indians scored on their opening drive capped off with Chase Patrick finding the endzone with a 19yd TD run.   Preble threatened on their opening possession crossing into the Indians red zone however, Talon Borders caused a fumble recovered by Kole Larison.  The next play Talon Borders scampered for a 97 yd. TD run to give the Indians a 16-0 lead. Late in the 2nd quarter, Kole Larsion connected with Johnny Gay for a 37yd pass that set up Indians RB, Scott Bruns for a 2yd. TD run.  Talon Borders sealed the Aarows fate with 62 yd interception TD return. The Indians cruised their way to a perfect 4-0 this season defeating Preble Shawnee 44-0.  The Indians travel to Madison Wednesday night for a Showdown in the Buckeye divison.
