Graduation Expectations
Dress Code Expectations (Please plan ahead)

Each senior will be provided with a cap and gown designed specifically for Carlisle High School. All students will wear a red cap and gown with the CHS Crest.

Graduation caps and gowns may not be altered. This includes but is not limited to airbrushing, drawing, and writing.

Seniors shall wear the cap level with the floor with the tassel hanging over the left front edge.

Each senior will be required to dress appropriately for the ceremony. Dress clothes & dress shoes must be worn. Dress shoes need to be school colors. Jeans, sneakers, boots, flip-flops, sunglasses, etc. cannot be worn.
Graduation Practice Expectations

All seniors are required to attend graduation practice. Any senior who does not attend the practice session will not be permitted to participate in our commencement exercises. Practice will be Thursday, May 29, at 9:30 am. Do not be late!
General Information

During the commencement exercise, parents and guests are not permitted to be on the gymnasium floor. A professional vendor will be taking pictures of every senior receiving his/her diploma. More information will be distributed prior to the ceremony.

All student fee obligations must be met by 2:30 pm on Friday, May 2.

Seniors must report to the elementary cafeteria by 6:00 pm on graduation day. Do not arrive before 5:30 pm. Students should park in the student parking lot.

Do not chew gum during the ceremony

A program will be on your seat as you enter the gymnasium.
Behavioral Expectations

Any senior under the influence of alcohol or drugs at either the graduation practice or ceremony will not be able to participate in the ceremony and authorities will be called immediately.

The Student Code of Conduct will be enforced at graduation practice and the ceremony. Any senior using foul language, being uncooperative, or demonstrating a poor attitude will be asked to leave.

Disruptions during the ceremony will not be tolerated. Students, parents, and guests will be asked to leave and escorted out of the gymnasium by a law enforcement officer if an individual is disrupting the ceremony. Silly string, confetti poppers, blow up beach balls, noise makers, loud verbal noises etc. are not permitted. Be respectful to all as the ceremony is a shared experience.

Please, do not be the first graduate, parent, family member to be removed from the ceremony.
