Mr. Dan Bassler began his position as Treasurer of the Carlisle Local School District in August 2010. Mr. Bassler began his career at Wright State University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree with a double major in Accounting and Finance. He was employed as a baseball coach for 9 years at Wright State University. During that time, Mr. Bassler earned a degree in Business Education and also completed his Master’s Degree in Education. 

In 2001, Mr. Bassler began his teaching career in the Twin Valley Community Local School District in West Alexandria. He was a high school business teacher as well as the District Athletic Director. In 2008, Mr. Bassler became the Treasurer at Twin Valley.

Mr. Bassler and his wife, Paula have 4 children, Jacob, Ryan, Allison, and Noelle.
