I want to welcome all visitors to the Alden R. Brown Elementary web page. My name is Mike Milner and I am starting my 17th school year as the Alden Brown Principal. I have served the Carlisle Local School District for 30 years (as a high school math teacher and coach and as principal at the middle school and primary levels). My wife Winnie and I met as a first year teachers at Carlisle in August, 1995. We have three children (Eric, Caroline, and Allie). It has been my pleasure to work at Carlisle all these years and I'm looking forward to having another outstanding school year this year!

During the 2025-2026 school year the Alden Brown Elementary section of the Carlisle Elementary School contains kindergarten, first grade, second grade, and third grade classrooms. During the 2025-2026 school year, we also will offer two morning preschool classes and two afternoon preschool classes.

It is our goal at to help our students mature academically, socially, and emotionally as they progress to grades 4, 5, 6, and beyond. We strive to have all students meet or exceed appropriate grade-level benchmarks in the academic areas, but more importantly, we want our students to feel safe and secure and to love coming to school!
