Keara Westfall Pupil Services Coordinator
Pupil Services Coordinator
My name is Ms. Keara Westfall, and I am the Guidance Counselor/Pupil Services Coordinator for Carlisle Elementary School. I am so excited for my first year of being part of the Carlisle School family. I am passionate about ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children and adults of all ages. When making decisions, I ensure that the child's best interest is my driving focus.
I received my bachelor’s degree in social work from The Ohio State University, and I am attending Grand Canyon University to receive my master's degree in school counseling. I have almost 5 years of experience working for the state of Ohio as a case manager for both public assistance and children's services. In my spare time, I love to spend time with my fiancé and our 4 pets. Together we spend most of our time outdoors, hunting, fishing, and camping. I also enjoy coaching volleyball as well as traveling to new places and experiencing new things.
What I love most about working with students is supporting and educating them to utilize their strengths and coping skills to manage their emotions, as well as helping them to build healthy and meaningful relationships. It is also important to me that they feel safe and accepted while obtaining an education. I want to work closely as a collaborating team with parents/guardians, teachers, administration, and staff to ensure your students are receiving all the support they need to guide them through their elementary school years. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. I look forward to working with you all and getting to know your students more throughout the school year!
